Information involved
The launcher and connected network are designed to use Microsoft/Minecraft authentication, account identifiers such as a player name and UUID, HGN wallet and cosmetic entitlements, game/server connection and playtime records, and support information a player chooses to send. The download website may also generate ordinary hosting/security request logs. The exact production collection and retention practices still require an audit.
Why it is used
Expected purposes are authentication, game access, saving entitlements across devices, detecting fraud or abuse, operating the service, resolving support issues, and securing the website. Do not provide a password to HGN support or this website; Microsoft sign-in should occur through its authorized flow.
Other services
Microsoft handles its own account authentication. Hosting, network, crash-reporting, payment, or support providers may process data if those services are enabled. HGN must name the actual providers and relevant cross-border transfers in the final notice; this draft does not claim a provider is active without verification.
Your choices and rights
Players may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain their data and to object or complain to a regulator, depending on their location. A working request channel and response process must be published. Data needed for security, legal compliance, or transaction records may have different retention requirements. No precise retention period is promised until the production systems are audited.
Children and contact
HGN should avoid unnecessary collection from children and assess age/parental-consent requirements before accepting payments or optional tracking. A public privacy contact and operator address are still pending. For now, do not submit sensitive personal data through this informational site.
